Britney Spears’ former boyfriend Adnan Ghalib is understood to have received death threats from her fans over reports that he planned to sell a sex tape of the star.
The Birmingham-born photographer is said to have taken a break from work and gone into hiding after revealing that he has been harassed by the singer’s fans.
Mr Ghalib also claimed that he was stabbed in the arm in April as irate fans vented their fury over his relationship with the 26-year-old singer.
The video is alleged to feature Spears performing a striptease while wearing a pink wig during a trip the couple took to Mexico.
Rumours about the existence of the tape and – Ghalib’s plan to sell it for use on the internet – first surfaced last month and, in an interview with Heat magazine, Ghalib commented on them.
Ghalib, 35, said: “I have had many calls about it from all over the world. In light of the constant calls about the sex tape and threats, I’m taking a break from the industry and keeping a low profile.”
He said of the stabbing: “Yes I was injured by an attacker. This is still being investigated.
“I can’t say much about the cowardly attack other than: a) you better come a lot stronger than that if you want to make a point and b) most will be surprised by those behind it.”
Sources in LA claimed his relationship with Spears during her child custody battles with her ex-husband and her admission to a psychiatric facility was simply a bid to find fame himself

I’ve seen the nudes of Britney in the bath but I cannot say whether it’s really her or not. If they are fake then someone went through a lot of trouble photoshopping her lips tattoo on her arm/wrist.
Just hope that the video sextape that comes out as a result of all this is worth the time. BUt then again how could a piece of shit paparazzi treating Britney fucking Spears like the two bit whore that she is ever be a bad thing? Yea, I went there and I totally feel good about that.
Still, a part of me still loves the Britney that was a part of almost every fantasy I had about schoolgirls because of her famous prancing around in her very first video.
Now I’m not thinking Britney Spears had the body that she had when she was a teenager but I just know that chick has passed two kids outta her vagina and there’s been picture proof that it didn’t go off without a hitch.
C-Section scars and a neverending rash seem to plague Britney’s crotch and that would be okay but she dresses so much more sexier than she really is. At least she should go on Jenny Craig for a few years then make another sextape so it would be something everyone would want to download and watch.
Back to my original comment… I would be great if the vid was Britny but I’m thinking it’s fake just because the pics haven’t shown up on CNN’s celeb hungry show yet. THey always try to get an extra push from all the celebrity gossip sites and rarely bother to check to see if what they are reporting is true or not. Yea yea, hello pot, right? LOL
Britney Spears people are still denying that a sextape exists and just yesterday released a statement pretty much mirroring their earlier “it’s false” claim.
Only time will tell if Adnan is only trying to get back into the spotlight because you know the old saying “Once you go Spears, you’ll be loaded for years”. Or something like that (insert bald vagina joke here)
Kind of makes me wonder what else Britney Spears puts in her mouth. Something Sarah Silverman said once, “I can’t keep track of everything that gets put in there.. Oh a burrito, oh a penis” lol damn
